How the conversions work
Annual pay is calculated as hourly rate × hours per week × weeks worked per year. All other periods (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly) are derived from that same hourly rate, so changing your hours-per-week or weeks-per-year assumption updates every figure consistently.
Frequently asked questions
Why does "weeks per year" matter? If you take unpaid time off, work part of the year, or aren't paid for holidays, using fewer than 52 weeks gives a more accurate annual figure than assuming you work every single week.
Is this gross or net pay? Gross — before taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, or other payroll deductions. Your actual take-home pay will be lower.
Why is the daily rate based on a 5-day week? It divides the weekly total by 5 workdays, which fits a typical Monday–Friday schedule — adjust the hours-per-week field if your schedule differs (e.g., four 10-hour days).
