Today, I wanted to share with you a new recipe that I have discovered through my love for trying out new and interesting things. It’s a recipe for an amazing and healthy drink that is packed full of delicious goodness that is not only great for your health but also tastes great too!

Yuzu Tea

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 yuzu fruit, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers or 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, add the water and honey, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add in the slices of yuzu, and dried chamomile flowers or chamomile tea bag, along with the cinnamon stick. Stir well.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes or until fragrant and the fruit has softened.
  4. Remove from heat and let steep for 10 more minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into a clean bowl or pitcher, and discard the solids. Be sure to press the fruit to extract as much juice as possible.
  6. If desired, add a little extra honey for extra sweetness.
  7. Serve warm or chilled with a few slices of fresh yuzu as a garnish. Enjoy!

Minuman Vitamin C dari Buah Yuzu Citrus

Bahan-bahan

  • 3 cangkir air
  • 4 sendok makan madu
  • 1 buah yuzu, iris tipis
  • 1 sendok teh bunga kamomil kering atau 1 kantong teh kamomil
  • 1 stick kayu manis

Cara Membuat

  1. Panaskan 3 cangkir air dan 4 sendok makan madu dalam panci kecil.
  2. Setelah itu masukkan irisan yuzu, bunga kamomil kering atau kantong teh kamomil, serta kayu manis, aduk rata.
  3. Kecilkan api dan biarkan mendidih dengan api kecil selama 10-15 menit atau sampai harum dan buahnya sudah semakin lembut.
  4. Ambil dari api dan biarkan meresap selama 10 menit lagi.
  5. Saring teh ke dalam mangkuk atau kendi yang bersih dan buang ampasnya. Ditekan buah yuzu untuk mengeluarkan jusnya.
  6. Tambahkan sedikit madu lagi jika diinginkan untuk manisnya.
  7. Sajikan hangat ataupun dingin dengan irisan yuzu sebagai garnish. Selamat menikmati!
