Tabbouleh Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch of fresh parsley
- 1 bunch of fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup of bulgur wheat
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
Begin by soaking the bulgur wheat in water for at least 30 minutes. After soaking, drain and set aside.
Now, it’s time to chop the vegetables. Finely chop the parsley, mint leaves, tomatoes, and onion and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the chopped vegetables and mix well. Add the soaked bulgur wheat and stir to combine.
Let the salad rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Garnish with additional fresh mint leaves and enjoy!
